How about a Big Sexy Double Play?

When Bartolo Colon pitches, interesting things just seem to happen. Sure, the game was already decided last night when he came in, and the Texas Rangers were on the wrong end of the decision.

However, somebody had to eat up the final three innings of the game. And who better to do it than a man who clearly likes to eat?

When Albert Pujols smoked a ball up the middle in the seventh inning with a runner on base, in another world, the score would have been 12-1 Angels.

But crafty, old Bartolo had other ideas. He waved his glove into the air and made magic happen. Or at least that’s what it looked like to me.

There’s a reason they call him “Big Sexy.” Just check out those moves. He may be getting close to hanging up his glove, but he is entertaining us to the very end.
