Giants Stop Playing “Don’t Stop Believin’” in Late Innings of Games
The San Francisco Giants have recently decided to stop playing the rocking chorus of the Journey classic pop-rock song “Don’t Stop Believin’” at the end of games where they are losing. For anyone that has seen the team play this season, this decision will not come as a surprise.
Fans of the Giants are well aware that they should definitely stop believing and that they really shouldn’t start believing at any point in the near future. The Giants team that won three World Series in five years is now a fading memory and all that remains is an overpaid roster and an under-manned minor league system.
I’d like to suggest some new songs the Giants can play during their home games. Songs that are a little more appropriate given their current circumstances.
