MLB postseason predictionsFirst and foremost, make sure to check out our MLB Postseason Predictions!

Episode 61 of Foul Territory: A Baseball Podcast—aka, the Livan Hernandez edition—was recorded on Opening Day eve, and hosts Jed Rigney and Jon Sumple are excited about the new season. There’s some banter about Vladdy Jr.’s epic spring training dinger before jumping into this week’s Headlines and discussions about Madison Bumgarner’s pinky and other injuries just before the start of the season, the crappy situation following a sewage pipe rupture at the Dodgers’ final tuneup Tuesday night, Red Sox having the highest payroll, Mike Trout having the highest paycheck, Aaron Boone dangling Aaron Judge as the Yankees’ leadoff hitter, Albert Belle getting busted, Steve Wright getting suspended, the A’s charging Giants fans a premium for parking, Game of Thrones Nights return this summer, and Pat Neshek becoming the first player to wear number 93.

We review the #hashtag slogans for each team with the Mets getting our vote for best # with #LGM and the Marlins getting the worst for #JuntosMiami, which means “Together Miami”—and nothing screams together like a slogan that half your fans don’t know what it means. This week’s Starting Nine features nine players with spring-related names, including picnics, barbecues and burgers. Then Jed and Jon reveal their MLB postseason predictions for Division winners, Wildcards, NLDS, NLCS and the World Series—and while they pick mostly the same teams to make the postseason, they have different matchups for the Fall Classic.

We end the show with Extra Innings, a look outside the world of baseball, by discussing the NCAA Final Four, the return of Roseanne and, of course, Stormy Daniels.
