First and foremost, Foul Territory is far from a shithole.
Episode 51 of Foul Territory — the Randy Johnson episode — has very little baseball convo and a whole shitload of pop culture, celebrity and other sports news. Why? Because the Hot Stove pilot light apparently is off.
Other than Jay Bruce signing with the Mets (yawn), the drawn out J.D. Martinez saga, and Gerrit Cole almost, maybe, being traded to the Astros, and a now former-agent having a video camera in a shower at his house, not much is going on. Which is probably why Jed and Jon do every thing they can to fill an hour and only manage 50+ minutes.
BUT, this week’s Extra Innings is chock full of fun with discussions about the Alabama win over Georgia in the National Championship Game, the “turmoil” within the New England Patriots locker room, Brad Pitt paying $120,000 to watch “Game of Thrones” with Emilia Clark and everything you didn’t want to know but need to about the Golden Globe Awards.
