Joe Mauer has announced his retirement after a 15-season run with the Minnesota Twins. Mauer started his career as one of the best offensive catchers in baseball, but injuries and age pushed him over to first base and DH duties. Oh well, guess he'll just have to live with being one of the team's all-time favorite players and a multi-millionaire.
